Tenerife has imposed fines totaling €20,000 on businesses operating without authorization on popular beaches, including kiosks and a surf school, as part of stricter enforcement of public land regulations.
Two kiosks received large fines, with the largest penalty of €14,000 issued to a kiosk on Playa de Las Vistas beach for unauthorised operations, while another business was fined €5,000 for encroaching on coastal land.
The surf school, Surf Center, was penalised for conducting profit-making classes on public land without proper authorization, reinforcing the need for compliance with local regulations.
