Six organisations and two individuals will be acknowledged in the Routes World Awards in Bahrain tonight, with a focus on exceptional route development marketing in various airport and destination categories.

Airports are categorised based on passenger numbers, with different finalists for Under 5 Million, 5-10 Million, 10-20 Million, and Over 20 Million passengers.

The airline category, judged by airports and destinations, highlights partnerships in route success, while individual awards celebrate up-and-coming professionals and established leaders in the industry.

Shortlisted nominees must submit supporting documentation, which will be scored by separate panels, with winners revealed on October 7, 2024, at the Networking Evening.
