More details of the dedicated bus and coach area at Dublin airport have nebeen revealed by airport operators DAA.
Social Democrats TD Catherine Murphy asked Transport Minister Eamon Ryan to outline his plans to develop the bus and coach area at the airport.
In reply, a DAA statement read: “As part of the infrastructure application recently submitted to the planning authority, it is DAA’s intention to upgrade the existing bus and coach ground transportation centre (GTC).
“As part of the upgrades to the GTC, it is proposed to provide sheltered walkways to the concourse (comprising a canopy and end screen); a screen and services zone (with bus and flight information); improved facilities, including seating areas, ticket vending facilities, retail and WCs.”
“The provision of these services will bring Dublin Airport’s bussing area in line with other airports around the world and represent a significant upgrade of the existing facilities.”
