EasyJet holidays has revised its animal welfare policy, eliminating all tours featuring animal-based attractions such as dolphin dives, elephant rides and petting experiences.

Following consultations with animal welfare organizations like World Animal Protection, easyJet has removed attractions such as animal rides, zoos, performances, and marine parks from its tour offerings.

Positive Reception and Future Steps: The updated policy has gained approval from animal rights group PETA, and easyJet plans to extend its influence by encouraging its hotel partners to adhere to the same animal welfare standards.

Matt Callaghan, easyJet holidays’ COO, said: “Our own research tells us that sustainable travel experiences are important to our customers, so we want to make it easy for them to holiday better.”
