Tourism Ireland has partnered with VisitBritain to organise a B2B workshop in Frankfurt, promoting Ireland to 27 tour operators from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Thirty-two tourism enterprises from Ireland are participating in the event, engaging in business discussions with tour operators who either consistently bring tourists to Ireland or are considering including the country in their offerings for the first time. Approximately 860 meetings are scheduled during the workshop, which will be followed by a networking session. This provides a valuable opportunity for Irish businesses to showcase and sell their products and services as the tour operators finalize contracts for 2025 and beyond.
Tourism Ireland, along with its partners, is reminding travel professionals from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland of the many attractions Ireland has to offer, including its stunning landscapes, rich heritage, excellent food and drink, as well as world-class attractions and outdoor experiences.
Nadine Lehmann, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for Germany, said: “We’re delighted to partner with VisitBritain to bring together these key travel professionals from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, to do business with our partners from Ireland this week. Our aim is to connect our partners with the influential tour operators who bring valuable tourists to Ireland and who are now contracting for 2025 and beyond.”
