Eleven Irish tourism enterprises participated in the Connections Luxury Americas event in Los Angeles this week, organized by Tourism Ireland.

The three-day event featured personalised one-on-one appointments and networking sessions aimed at promoting Ireland to over 100 key luxury travel buyers from North America.

This initiative provides Irish businesses with a platform to establish connections that could increase tourist interest in Ireland as a prime travel destination.

Approximately 240 commercial meetings are scheduled throughout the event, boosting Ireland’s visibility in the competitive luxury tourism market.

Alison Metcalfe, Tourism Ireland’s Head of North America, said: “Our presence at this year’s Connections Luxury Americas in Los Angeles is another excellent platform to inspire influential North American luxury travel professionals about Ireland. It’s a valuable opportunity for Tourism Ireland and our partners to connect and network with travel professionals who have the potential to bring high value tourists to the island, helping to secure a greater share of their business for Ireland in 2025 and beyond.”
