
Tourism Ireland, along with a delegation of 14 tourism enterprises and representatives from Aer Lingus and Delta, is conducting a sales mission to the United States this week.
The ‘Best of Ireland’ sales mission is visiting Detroit, Indianapolis, Nashville, and Charlotte, aiming for approximately 4,000 commercial meetings with 200 US travel advisors to promote tourism partnerships.
Each city will host a B2B event alongside interactive presentations, allowing participating companies to showcase their offerings to American travel agents.
This sales mission allows tourism professionals to learn about new direct flights from 21 US gateways, including emerging services from Detroit, Indianapolis, and Nashville, further encouraging US travellers to choose Ireland.

Alison Metcalfe, Tourism Ireland’s Head of North America, shared: “This week’s ‘Best of Ireland’ sales mission to Detroit, Indianapolis, Nashville and Charlotte provides an excellent platform to highlight the many things to see and do. The United States remains an extremely important market for tourism and air access is a key part of the picture.”
Participating enterprises included: AC Group, Celtic Tours World Vacations, CIE Tours, The Clare Collection,, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, Excursions Ireland, Game of Thrones Studio Tour, Great Southern Killarney, Guinness Storehouse, Ireland’s Blue Book, Katie Daly’s Ireland, Kylemore Abbey, Lynott Tours, McKeever Hotels, Newbridge Silverware Visitor Centre, Sceptre Vacations, Tatter Jack’s Tours, Visit Armagh and Walking Food Tours.
