Tourism Ireland and four Irish tourism enterprises attended Travel News Market in Stockholm to promote Ireland to Swedish tour operators and travel agents.

The one-day B2B event provided an opportunity to connect with influential Swedish travel trade and MICE buyers through one-to-one, pre-scheduled appointments.

Emer Mac Diarmada, Manager for the Nordic Region at Tourism Ireland, highlighted the event as a valuable platform to showcase Ireland’s tourism offerings and secure contracts for 2025 and beyond.

Participants included representatives from various Irish tourism entities such as Mid Ulster District Council, Fáilte Ireland, Whiskey Island, and Atlas Travel Solutions Ireland.

Emer Mac Diarmada, Tourism Ireland’s Manager for the Nordic Region, shared: “Tourism Ireland was delighted to attend Travel News Market in Stockholm once again this year. It’s an excellent opportunity to inspire key Swedish travel professionals about all the great things to see and do in Ireland and a valuable platform for our partners from Ireland to showcase and sell their products and services.” PIC SHOWS: Maarit Karkkainen, Tourism Ireland; Mary McKeown, Mid Ulster District Council; Martina Canty, Fáilte Ireland; John Callely, Whiskey Island; and Dawn Henderson, Atlas Travel Solutions Ireland, at Travel News Market in Stockholm.
