Tourism Ireland hosted B2B travel trade workshops in Amsterdam and Brussels to promote Ireland to Dutch and Belgian travel professionals for 2026 programmes.
Irish tourism companies, including hotels, distilleries, and attractions like Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, engaged in 400 commercial meetings over two days.
The workshops aimed to inspire new and extended itineraries, showcasing Ireland’s scenery, food, drink, and outdoor experiences.
Companies such as Aer Lingus, Irish Ferries, and Powerscourt Estate participated to strengthen Ireland’s presence in the Dutch and Belgian markets.
The events focused on creating business connections to drive overseas tourism revenue for Ireland in 2026 and beyond.
The Irish tourism enterprises represented were Ahascragh Distillery, ATS Travel, B&B Ireland, Caherconnell Fort and Sheepdog Demonstrations, Clare Collection, Cróga Tours, Ella Mor Outdoor Adventures, Glasnevin, Ireland’s National Cemetery, Hillsborough Castle and Gardens, Irish Ferries, Killary Fjord Boat Tours, Loughinsholin Tourism Cluster, Mid Ulster District Council, Original Irish Hotels, Powerscourt Estate, Saint Patrick’s Cathedral Dublin and Visit Derry.
Karen van der Horst of Tourism Ireland shared: “I’m delighted that our valued Dutch and Belgian travel partners are taking the time to meet with us in Amsterdam and Brussels this week, finding out more about the richness of our tourism offering. Our goal is simple: to create meaningful connections between small businesses from Ireland with Dutch and Belgian travel professionals who can bring visitors at scale.”
