Tourism Ireland hosts English ‘First dates’ media personality on location in Antrim, Donegal & Down

Fred Sirieix, known from Englsh television programme First Dates, is filming a five-part TV series titled “Fred’s Tour De Ireland” in Antrim, Donegal and Down, scheduled to air in spring 2025 on ITV1 and ITVX.

The show features Fred’s cycling challenges across various scenic locations, including the Mourne Mountains and Causeway Coast, while showcasing local culture, food, and hospitality.

The series aims to promote sustainable tourism in Ireland, supported by Tourism Ireland and Irish Ferries, targeting potential English travellers for holiday inspirations.

Fred expressed his excitement to explore Ireland’s landscapes, food, and people, highlighting the unique experience of traveling by bike to connect with the locals and places.

Fred Sirieix shared: “I’ve always wanted to spend some quality time in Ireland to explore the land, learn about the people, plus its food and culture. Travelling by bike can bring you even closer to a place and those that live there, so who knows, I might even fall in love with a new place again.”
