Seven US tour operators explored Ireland’s outdoor and sustainable activities, hosted by Tourism Ireland, Fáilte Ireland, and Tourism NI.
The itinerary included e-biking to Dún Aonghasa, a sheepdog demonstration at Killary Sheep Farm, and a surfing lesson on Strandhill Beach, seaweed foraging, a Mourne Mountains guided walk, and wild river dipping in Tollymore Forest Park.
Belfast visits featured St George’s Market, Titanic Belfast, and a Black Taxi Tour, showcasing cultural and historical attractions.
The programme aims to promote Ireland’s outdoor offerings to American visitors through the operators’ future itineraries.
Alison Metcalfe shared: “We’re delighted these influential US tour operators have taken the time to come and experience our superb outdoor activities and sustainable experiences.”
