Tourism Ireland, alongside four Irish golf and tourism operators, is participating in the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai to highlight Ireland’s golfing offerings.

The championship, held at Jumeirah Golf Estates, is a prestigious event in the European Tour calendar, drawing top players, international journalists, and a vast audience annually.

Representatives are emphasizing upcoming significant golf events in Ireland, including The Open at Royal Portrush in 2025 and the Ryder Cup at Adare Manor in 2027.

The event serves as a prime opportunity for Ireland to market its world-class golf facilities and attract future tourists to the country.

Aisling McDermott, Tourism Ireland’s Head of Global Partnerships, said: “We’re ataking every opportunity to highlight the fact that The Open will return to Royal Portrush in 2025 and the Ryder Cup will take place at Adare Manor in 2027. Tourism Ireland will be pulling out all the stops once again to leverage the tourism potential of these prestigious sporting events in our important golf markets around the world. Our presence at this year’s DP World Tour Championship in Dubai is an excellent opportunity to remind golfers that Ireland offers some of the very best golf in the world, as well as spectacular scenery and fantastic experiences”
