TourismNI hosted a showcase event in Dublin aimed at promoting the north as a premier travel and business destination, partnering with Belfast City Council and attended by key figures including Stormont Economy Minister Conor Murphy.

The event featured a dinner reception at the James Joyce Centre, followed by a performance of the play Agreement at the Gate Theatre, which focuses on the negotiations leading to the Good Friday Agreement in 1998.

Minister Murphy highlighted that tourism has flourished since the Good Friday Agreement, with overnight visitors to the six counties quadrupling and visitor spending significantly increasing, thereby helping to enhance social connections and cultural exchanges.
