Transavia France has started deploying new 186-seat Airbus A320neo aircraft on the Paris Orly to Dublin route, replacing Boeing 737-800 aircraft on an ad-hoc basis.
Two A320neo aircraft have operated on the route so far, with plans to have a total of 13 A320neo aircraft operational by the end of 2024, gradually replacing all 70 Boeing 737-800s in service by 2030.
The A320neo cabin features Airbus’ Airspace LX bins, offering 40pc more stowage space for enhanced boarding experience. Passengers also have access to USB-C ports at each seat and a modern lighting system.
The new A320neo aircraft brings significant environmental benefits, including a 50pc noise footprint reduction, 20pc fuel savings, and CO2 reduction compared to previous generation single-aisle aircraft, due to advanced CFM International LEAP-1A engines and Sharklets integration.
