Aer Lingus and Los Angeles tourism hosted 130 agents at Sonder+Ko on Monday night. It was a flamboyant LA event to give the route a winter boost after a very successful summer. The dynamic of the route will be changed beyond recognition over the coming 18 months as IAG puts together a new trans Atlantic strategy. Should anti-trust immunity be granted to IAG, a decision that is pending, Aer Lingus would be able to code share with BA and Iberia passengers will be able to use alternative routings across the Atlantic, transferring out through Dublin and back through one of IAG’s other cities.
