TUI has partnered with SENNIES for three years to enhance support for children with special educational needs, including neurodiversity, during holidays.
New sensory rooms, like one at TUI BLUE Aura in Ibiza, provide calming environments with soft lighting and interactive equipment. Bespoke tools such as visual supports and ‘Now and Next’ boards will be introduced in TUI kids’ clubs to aid communication.
All TUI childcare teams and frontline staff will receive specialised training to ensure inclusive holiday experiences. The partnership aims to make TUI the most neuro-friendly travel company, addressing challenges faced by families with Special Education Needs children.
Louise Bates shared: “TUI is committed to making holidays accessible for all customers and we recognise the many challenges families and children with SEN face while travelling and on holiday.”
Georgia Sargeant shared: “We’re proud to be partnering with TUI to make neuro-inclusive travel a reality for families with neurodivergent children.”
