TUI Spain has recorded a 10pc increase in bookings to Peru over the past year and announced expansion of its travel programme for summer 2027. The details were revealed in Madrid on 6 October 2026 as part of a strengthened partnership between TUI Spain and Peru’s tourism promotion agency, Promperú.

Approximately 30pc of all current bookings include an excursion to the Amazon rainforest, focusing on regions like Puerto Maldonado and Iquitos. Group tours now account for 20pc of TUI’s Peru revenue, while senior travellers make up 15pc of the total volume. There is surging demand for hiking itineraries such as the Inca Trail, as well as requests to extend trips toward Peru’s northern coastline, including Máncora and Tumbes.

From June to September 2027, TUI will secure dedicated blocks of flight seats and ground capacity to manage the peak summer rush. Itineraries will introduce lesser-known highlights to Spanish travellers, including the Huacachina desert oasis lagoon and the Barranco neighbourhood in Lima. TUI is building out combined multi-destination itineraries that pair Peru with neighbouring South American countries. Customers typically book these South American itineraries four to five months in advance.
