
The ninth Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup took place in county Wicklow on September 25, 2024, with the champion representing the city at the Grand Finals.
Turkish Airlines hosted the event at Powerscourt Golf Club, attended by local high-profile figures and business community members.
The tournament is part of the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup series, which involved over 10,000 players competing in 118 tournaments across 67 countries since its inception in 2013. The event at Powerscourt Golf Club was the 78th of 118 tournaments in this year’s Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup
Paul Sullivan emerged as the champion in Dublin, earning a spot in the Grand Finals in Türkiye, with Turkish Airlines providing Business Class flights for all finalists.
Carl Lonergran was runner-up, while Paul Sullivan came third. The Closest to the Pin competition was won by Shay Burke for the men and Olwen McKinney for the women. Hugo Kean sain won the lowest gross score with a score of 32.
Due to eligibility rules Paul Sullivan will go to the Grand Finals to represent Dublin.
