United Airlines resumed its Washington Dulles-Dublin route using a 174-seat Boeing 757-224(ER) aircraft on January 8th after a winter suspension

The airline has noted an increase in demand for European getaways and will recommence flights to European cities like Barcelona, Dublin, Lisbon, and Rome starting from February 15.

United flew 33pc more customers across the Atlantic in 2023 compared to 2022 and expects this demand to continue growing in spring 2024

United will add four new domestic routes from Washington Dulles to Harrisburg, Philadelphia, State College, and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton from 27 June operated by United Express carriers using Embraer 145 and Embraer 175 aircraft.
