United lounge at Newark

United Airlines has unveiled a new Club lounge near gate C74 at New York’s Newark airport. The lounge spans 18,000 square feet and can accommodate over 400 guests. It boasts a Manhattan-inspired design and features a beautiful blue and gold ceiling art installation by local artist Ron Norsworthy, reminiscent of Grand Central Station.

The lounge offers convenient self-scan entry, a premium bar, a wellness room, and a full buffet with various food options, including the famous Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwich, considered the official sandwich of New Jersey.

This new Club lounge adds to United’s existing lounges at Newark airport, including the recently opened Terminal A Club lounge and the Terminal C3 facility, which was previously the largest lounge in United’s network until the airline’s new 35,000 square foot lounge at Denver International airport took the title last month.

With the completion of the Terminal C facility, Newark is now the first of United’s hubs to fully showcase the carrier’s new Club design and amenities. United has more than doubled its lounge space at the airport. The pop-up lounge near gate C93 has closed down.
