Ketty Dilone, 47, from Nevada, faced federal charges after disrupting American Airlines flight 2470 from Charlotte to Las Vegas on 16 September 2025, after allegedly assaulting a flight attendant.
Midway through the flight, Dilone walked the aisle yelling and recording on her phone. When she was asked to stop recording she then threatened attendants with statements like “I will kill you b***h!” and aggressive postures.
Crew restrained her with flex cuffs and seat belt; she kicked an attendant twice in the legs, causing a fall, leading to duct tape on her torso and legs.
Attendants rearranged nearby passengers and monitored her during descent, hindering landing preparations; law enforcement arrested her at Harry Reid International Airport.
Dilone has a 2005 misdemeanor domestic violence conviction; she faces up to 20 years for interference and one year for assault; FAA reported 1,154 unruly passengers in 2025 so far.
American Airlines spokesperson shared: “The safety of our customers and team members is our highest priority. We take this matter very seriously and are working closely with law enforcement on its investigation.”
