Upgraded railway station facilities at Gatwick airport will be unveiled later this month.
The £250m project includes a second concourse and airport entrance, expanded platforms, and additional escalators, lifts, stairways, and ticket gates.
The new concourse will serve as the entrance for airport access, while the existing concourse will be used for those exiting.
In addition to the station upgrades, Gatwick airport is also undergoing a redevelopment of its North Terminal. This includes a modernised departure lounge with new amenities such as contemporary seating and power points, local artwork showcasing the region, and improved wayfinding. These upgrades aim to provide passengers with a more convenient and enjoyable travel experience.
Both Aer Lingus and Ryanair operate from the south terminal at Gatwick.
