The USA’s TSA reports potentially record passenger numbers over the year-end holidays to 31 December 2025.

Projections estimate 44.3m travellers screened between mid-December and early January. Staffing reaches full capacity at checkpoints. Improvements enhance security processes. Promotions encourage TSA PreCheck enrolment.

The agency introduced family lanes and had ended shoes-off requirements in some queues. REAL ID implementation has proceeded smoothly earlier in the year.
