Waterford is set to celebrate the Samhain festival from October 25 to 28, featuring a parade and street spectacle organized by Spraoi, which will culminate in a Fire and Shadows Procession highlighting local folklore.
The Samhain Town family event at Connolly Barracks will include activities like a haunted house and pumpkin patch, running on October 26 and 27, with tickets priced at €5 for children.
Various spooky attractions will be available throughout the event, including guided Dark History Tours, a Ghostly Woodland Walk in Tramore, and a Halloween-themed installation at the Spooky Tunnel along the Waterford Greenway.
The festival promises fun for families, with multiple entertainment options, special screenings at Lismore Heritage Centre, and a thrilling Carnevil experience at Lismore Castle.
