Wizz Air has deferred 88 Airbus deliveries from fiscal 2030 to 2033 while keeping 273-aircraft order intact.

The airline’s A321XLR commitment reduced from 47 to 11; 36 converted to standard A321neo.  Five XLR already delivered; recent additions include two NX to Hungary, three to Malta, one to England.

The restructuring follows closure of the airline’s operations in Abu Dhabi, targeting 10-12pc annual capacity growth to 2030.  Wizz fleet stands at 242 aircraft across Hungarian, Malta, and UK AOCs.
