Work has begun on Kerry tourism project, the renovation of Bray Head Signature Discovery Point on Valentia island, with construction scheduled for seven months.
Planned upgrades include a rooftop viewing deck, a ground level viewing point called a Ha Ha viewing point, and a new concrete spiral staircase.
The project will also focus on rebuilding existing stone boundary walls with Valentia Slate Slabs and stabilising the current tower building.
Fáilte Ireland is funding the works, which are being executed by Eamon Costello Ltd, with designs created by DePaor Architects.
Efforts to enhance the tourism industry in the Wild Atlantic Way will prioritise new and improved capital projects, including the redevelopment of Bray Head as part of a robust 2025 initiative.
