Holland America Line has introduced new cuisine on Caribbean sailings, featuring fresh, local flavors in their regional-themed menus at the Dining Room and Lido Market.
Guests can now enjoy a themed brunch, sample local rums, and try the 18th Century Pirate Punch, a rum punch inspired by a historical recipe created by David Wondrich, a James Beard Award-winning historian.
The Dining Room offers a Caribbean Brunch menu with tropical flavors, including Jamaican Banana Pancakes, Sweet Potato Chowder, Cuban Medianoche Pork and Cheese Sandwich, Jerk Burger, Dominican Fried Chicken, and more. The Lido Market also offers regional favorites like Puerto Rican tostones and a crepe bar with local fruit and rum sauce toppings.
Holland America Line has launched a fresh fish program, delivering seafood from 60 global ports to the cruise ships in under 48 hours. They will host seminars and tastings on a Panama Canal cruise exploring the history of cocktails with beverage experts David Wondrich and Jeff Berry.
