Irish visits to Spain reached a record 2,477,429 in 2023, up 13.8pc on pre pandemic 2019 and up 18.6pc on 2022.
Overall tourism to Spain was up 2.7;pc on pre pandemic from 82,808,413 to 85,056,528 and up 18.67pc on 2022.
Ireland’s share of the Spanish inbound market is 2.9pc. England is still the most important inbound market (20.4pc, down from 22.4pc) ahead of France (13.7pc up from 13.6pc) with Germany (12.5pc down from 13.8pc) also slipping.
