ANOTHER hotel boost for Belfast City as 79-bed Moxy to open in July

MHL Hotel Collection will open its first Belfast property, Moxy Belfast City, in July, featuring 179 bedrooms. The hotel will occupy the former site of the Park Inn by Radisson on Clarence Street West, following an £8m refurbishment.

Gemma Connor has been appointed as general manager, bringing experience from Corick House Hotel & Spa and roles in Belfast and London.

The hotel aims to create 60 new job opportunities in roles such as bar and restaurant staff, reception, housekeeping, and management.

MHL Hotel Collection is the largest Marriott franchisee in Ireland, with properties The College Green Hotel Dublin, Autograph Collection, formerly The Westin Dublin, Powerscourt Hotel in Wicklow, Moxy Dublin City, InterContinental Dublin, Hilton Dublin City, The Morgan Hotel, Brooks Hotel, The Trinity City Hotel and The Spencer Hotel. It also owns hotels in Limerick and Galway.
