Riyadh Air has unveiled its Hafawa Lounge at King Khalid International Airport ahead of its inaugural flight to London Heathrow on 26 October.

The 2,000-square-metre lounge, designed by Yabu Pushelberg, accommodates 370 Business Class and Business Elite passengers, offering zones like The Café, Buffet and Social Dining, and Executive Dining with à la carte meals.
The lounge incorporates Saudi heritage with limestone and oak, inspired by desert landscapes. The inaugural flight, operated on a leased Boeing 787-9 from Oman Air, is limited to airline and sovereign wealth fund employees. Full operations, with fares from €600, begin in 2026 after aircraft deliveries.
Full service, with economy fares from €600, starts in 2026 post-aircraft delivery.
Tony Douglas shared: “Saudi Arabia’s connectivity today isn’t good enough. The Hafawa Lounge seamlessly integrates Saudi heritage with innovative technology to deliver a sophisticated and exclusive environment.”
