Their itinerary included Brú na Bóinne, Glendalough Visitor Centre, Beyond the Trees Avondale and Powerscourt Waterfall.

The operators also took guided tours of Killruddery House and Gardens, Newbridge Silverware, a Hidden Howth Experience, Windmill Lane Recording Studios and a walking food tour with Dublin Food Tour. Tourism Ireland organised the visit to support future programmes that feature Ireland.

The programme aims to increase visitor numbers from mainland Europe in 2026 and beyond.

Karen van der Horst shared “Tourism Ireland was delighted to invite this group of tour operators to experience Ireland first-hand. Seeing is believing and our aim is that when they return home, they will be even more enthusiastic about the destination, helping to secure a greater share of their business for Ireland in 2026 and beyond.”
