Tourism Ireland has led a ‘Meet in Ireland’ showcase in Salt Lake City and San Francisco, with eight tourism companies from the island of Ireland promoting the destination for corporate meetings and incentive travel.

The events connected Irish specialists with around 60 American planners, highlighting world-class infrastructure, luxurious accommodation, state-of-the-art venues, spectacular landscapes and renowned hospitality. This initiative aims to grow high-value business events tourism, supporting off-peak and midweek visitation across the island.

Eight tourism companies from Ireland joined Tourism Ireland in Salt Lake City and San Francisco this week for B2B events with around 60 American meeting and incentive travel planners. The Meet in Ireland showcase promoted the island of Ireland for corporate meetings and incentive travel. Participants highlighted infrastructure, accommodation, venues, landscapes and hospitality.

Alison Metcalfe of Tourism Ireland led the initiative which aligns with goals to grow overseas tourism revenue outside peak summer. The events took place in mid June 2026. Meet in Ireland serves as the official MICE brand involving Tourism Ireland, Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland.

The roadshow connected specialists in business events with planners from the United States. Companies included representatives from hotels, attractions and destination management. The promotion targets high value midweek and off season business travel.
