CIE Tours held its 32nd annual Awards of Excellence to celebrate the diversity and richness of Irish tourism.

The event took place in Dublin Royal Convention Centre, on Tuesday February 6, 2024, bringing together senior representatives of Ireland’s tourism sector.

The awards, based on customer feedback, recognized various categories including hotels, accommodations, dining, tours, and heritage.

Fourteen overall award winners were announced, each achieving a customer satisfaction rating of over 92pc.

The category winners:

  • 3-Star: Wyatt Hotel Westport
  • 4-Star: Ballygarry Estate 
  • 5-Star: Dromoland Castle
  • Event Dinner: Crosskeys Inn 
  • Hotel Accommodation: Kilronan Castle Estate and Spa wins for 
  • Hotel Dinner: Cabra Castle 
  • Hotel Service & Hospitality: Dunraven Adare 
  • Lunch: Taylors Three Rock 
  • National Heritage Award: Do Dublin Tours
  • Sheep Dog Trial: Atlantic Sheepdogs
  • Special Dinner Feature: Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Adore
  • Tour Feature: Marine Bar Waterford
  • Visit: Slieve League Cliffs Centre
  • Walking Tour: Historic Stroll Kinsale Walking Tours
  • Iceland Visit Merit Award: Bjarteyjarsandur Farm
