Spain hosted 1,408,701 visitors from Ireland in first six months of 2025

Ireland was the second fastest goring market to Spain in June, behind Portugal. The figure of 357,402 visits was 8.1pc ahead of 2024 and 30.6pc ahead of pre-pandemic. 

For the first six months of the year there were 1,408.701 visitors from Ireland to Spain, up 7.8pc on 2024..

Once again England emerges as the leading source of international tourists to Spain, followed by Germany and France. Visitor durations predominantly ranged from four to seven nights, while day trips increased by 7.6pc.

The Balearic Islands attracted 23.9pc of international tourists in June with figures up 3pc on 2024. The number of tourists that used market accommodation as their main lodging mode increased by 4.5pc year on year. Nearly 6.9m tourists travelled without a travel package.
