Aer Lingus ordered two Airbus A320neo aircraft on November 2nd, according to Airbus orders and deliveries report released on December 5th. This brings their total order book to eight aircraft, with four already delivered.

Two more aircraft are expected to be delivered in 2024.

On July 30th, IAG announced the conversion of 10 A320neo family options into firm orders for 10 A320neos, with the possibility of converting some of them into A321neos.

The Airbus A320neo, with a list price of $110.6m, offers up to a 20% reduction in fuel burn and CO2 emissions compared to previous generation aircraft (A320ceo). It also has a significantly reduced noise footprint and accommodates 186 seats, resulting in lower fuel emissions per seat.
