Aer Lingus signs AI passenger customisation deal with Salesforce

Aer Lingus has signed an AI data partnership with Salesforce, a company that “empowers companies of every size and industry to connect with their customers through the power of data + AI + CRM + trust” to deliver a more personalised service for passengers. 

A statement from the airline says that by investing in digital transformation and using Salesforce’s technology, Aer Lingus aims to deliver excellent customer service and build trust: “The partnership will enable faster and more effective customer service responses through the use of Salesforce’s AI-powered technologies. Aer Lingus plans to deliver personalised communications tailored to each customer’s preferences, including information about new routes, products, and booking details. By gaining deeper insights into customers, Aer Lingus aims to offer a personalised, digital-led experience throughout the travel journey.”

The partnership reflects the airline’s ambitious plans to expand North Atlantic services form the current 16 routes.

The statement reiterates that Aer Lingus is committed to sustainable aviation and aims to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
