Airbus delivered 40 aircraft in February 2025, comprising 37 single-aisle and three twin-aisle, with A330-900 and A350-900 among the deliveries.

The Toulouse based aircraft manufacturer continues to suffer from a shortage of engines and slow aerostructures deliveries, and lagged behind troubled Boeing for deliveries in January .

Aer Lingus’s next A320 EI-NSG (St Dervilla / Deirbhil) has had its second test flight in Toulouse while EI-XLU (MSN 12412) and EI-XLV (MSN 12248) is on the production line in Hamburg with no confirmed delivery dates.

US airlines received eight Airbus aircraft, including deliveries to American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, and Spirit Airlines, with Spirit operating under bankruptcy protections.

Korean Air ordered six A321neo aircraft, contributing to Airbus’s total of 14 gross orders for the month, increasing the net orders for 2025 to 65.

Year-to-date deliveries in 2025 reached 65 aircraft, down from 79 aircraft last year. Airbus aims to deliver around 820 aircraft in 2025, up 54 from last year, despite facing previous production challenges and component shortages affecting manufacture schedules.

In February, Airbus added 14 aircraft to its backlog, finalising agreements for A321neo aircraft wwith Korean Air (six) and an undisclosed customer (eight).
