
Airline fines are to be increased from €3,000 to €5,000 per passenger for passport and visa discrepancies in a new measure to clamp down on illegal immigration.
The government is to condor legislation this week designed to decrease the flow of undocumented passengers seeking asylum and increasing fines for airlines that bring in passengers without proper documentation.
