Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas is scheduled to undergo a major refurbishment during its drydock in early 2025, to get a new set of waterslides, updated dining venues, new specialty dining options and new bars and lounges.

The modernization project aims to update the ship to ensure it remains competitive and relevant in the industry.

The upgrades will not only focus on enhancing the guest experience but also on improving the ship’s environmental aspects. The original refurbishment project, part of a $1bn modernisation program called Royal Amplification, was postponed due to the pandemic.
