AmaWaterways plans to add eight new ships to its European fleet by 2030, doubling its global fleet to over 40 vessels since 2020.

The expansion responds to growing demand for river cruising, with new ships designed to maintain high-touch service and elegant design. Itineraries include up to seven daily excursions, such as cultural tours, bike rides, wine tastings, and truffle hunting in the south of France.

Onboard offerings feature award-winning cuisine, Wellness Hosts for exercise classes, sun deck pools, fitness rooms, and local cultural performances. Further details on the new ships will be revealed in the coming months, with the expansion aimed at enhancing guest experiences across Europe’s rivers.
