AmaWaterways to offer co-branded river cruises with Smithsonian Journeys from 2026

AmaWaterways announced an alliance with Smithsonian Journeys, to offer co-branded river cruises beginning in April 2026.

The initiative will include 33 departures featuring pre- and post-cruise land packages, all hosted by an AmaWaterways cruise manager.

Co-founder Rudi Schreiner stated that this partnership merges AmaWaterways’ expertise in river cruising with Smithsonian’s focus on cultural and educational experiences for travelers.
