Ambassador Cruise Line and Compagnie Française de Croisières are merging to create a new entity, the Ambassador Group, aimed at leading the European cruise market with a focus on older travelers.
The group will operate three ships and seek to enhance their offerings with an emphasis on sustainable practices and authentic experiences in their respective British and French markets.
Plans include upgrading the Renaissance ship with advanced environmental technology to comply with sustainability goals and explore new cruise destinations.
Additionally, a new fly-cruise Caribbean program is set to launch in Winter 2025-26, expanding the group’s offerings and targeting a broader audience from the UK, France, and the Netherlands.
Jakob Kjellberg, co-founder of Njord Partners, shared: “We are very proud to announce another significant milestone in Ambassador’s journey to becoming a leader in the European affordable value silver cruise market. We are committed to continuing to invest in the sector, confident in its potential and our ability to become a market leader. This partnership underscores our belief in the strength and growth of the European cruise market.”
