The 2025 cruise season at the Port of Cork has commenced with he arrival of Ambassador Cruise Line’s Ambition

A total of 107 cruise ships are scheduled to visit throughout the year, with 93 expected in Cork and 14 at Bantry Bay Harbour starting in May.

Conor Mowlds expressed pride in welcoming a diverse array of vessels from the US, Canada, and Europe to Ireland’s busiest cruise port.

The Ambition will make a total of four calls at the Port of Cork, with its final visit planned for November, marking the end of the season.

Toddy Stafford noted that each cruise ship arrival energises Cobh, benefiting local tourism, retail, and employment opportunities.
