American Airlines is expanding its lounge offerings at Miami International Airport, which currently includes an Admirals Club at D15 and facilities at D30.
The existing Flagship Lounge, inaugurated in 2017, will be transformed into additional Admirals Club space, while a new Flagship Lounge is in the planning stages.
No specific details or timeline have been disclosed; however, American Airlines conveyed that the expansions would nearly double lounge space for customers at MIA.
This announcement follows the opening of new lounges at Philadelphia International Airport’s Terminal A-West, aligning with the introduction of the Flagship Suite business class on the Philadelphia-Heathrow route.
Juan Carlos Liscano, American’s vice president, shared that “Miami is our international gateway, where we serve more than 30 million customers annually.”
