Atlas Ocean Voyages has unveiled Extraordinary Expeditions, a new collection of immersive extended voyages aboard Atlas Adventurer, the world’s first luxury expedition sailing yacht debuting in November 2028.
The Grand Odyssey Expedition is an 128-night voyage aboard Atlas Ocean Voyages’ Atlas Adventurer, departing Kobe, Japan on 30 November 2028 and journeying across some of the world’s most remote destinations before arriving in Cape Town, South Africa. Spanning Asia, the Indian Ocean and Africa, the itinerary takes travellers through Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and the Seychelles, before continuing to Madagascar, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique and South Africa. With an emphasis on immersive exploration, the voyage offers extended stays and multiple calls in destinations including Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, Ho Chi Minh City and the Seychelles.
Accommodating up to 400 guests, supported by a crew of 275, the Atlas-class sailing yacht will introduce a significantly expanded onboard experience, including all-suite accommodations across every category, increased space and amenities, and a broader range of dining, wellness, and social offerings, while maintaining the boutique hospitality that defines Atlas Ocean Voyages. The vessel will include seven dining venues, featuring specialty restaurants and a new culinary studio for hands-on learning and destination-inspired programming. It will also have five lounges and cocktail bar social spaces, along with two outdoor bars. Engineered for worldwide discovery, Atlas Adventurer is a 26,000-gross-tonne luxury expedition sailing yacht measuring 690 feet in length, equipped with dual-fuel engines and electric-hybrid propulsion.
