Avalon Waterways will refresh its fleet of Suite Ships, including Avalon Alegria, Avalon View, and Avalon Envision, over the next two years, starting in 2024.
Key updates will involve refreshed interiors, enhanced outdoor spaces, and improved Wi-Fi connectivity through additional Starlink antennas.
Features such as modernised Sky Decks, upgraded observation lounges with comfortable seating, and enhanced fitness rooms with new equipment will be introduced.
Updates include:
- Refreshed Interiors: Updated décor across all public spaces, including new flooring and furniture.
- Enhanced Connectivity: A second Starlink antenna for improved high-speed internet.
- Upgraded Sky Deck: Modernized design and new furniture to complement panoramic views.
- Observation Lounge Enhancements: More comfortable seating for front-row river views.
- Fitness Room Upgrades: New Kinesis weight machines and an expanded selection of free weights.
- Expanded Cycling Options: 15 new bikes and four e-bikes added to each ship.
Each ship will also receive 15 new bikes and four e-bikes to expand cycling options for guests during their voyages.
The fleet refresh will occur in phases:
- 2024: Avalon Passion, Avalon Imagery II, Avalon Poetry II, Avalon Panorama, Avalon Vista
- 2025: Avalon Artistry II, Avalon Impression, Avalon Illumination, Avalon Tapestry II, Avalon Tranquility II
- 2026: Avalon Expression, Avalon Visionary
