Avalon Waterways has launched its inaugural cruises in Bordeaux with the introduction of the Bonjour Bordeaux: Châteaux, Wineries & Charming Villages itinerary.
The Avalon Artistry II has started its official departures following a VIP sailing, marking Avalon’s expansion into Southwest France.
The itinerary will explore the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, featuring activities such as château visits, wine tastings, e-biking through vineyards, and oyster sampling in Arcachon.
Guests will enjoy experiences in Saint-Émilion and the opportunity to choose from various excursions as part of Avalon’s signature cruise offering.
The eight-day Bonjour Bordeaux itinerary is available for combination with cruises along the Seine, Rhône, and Rhine Rivers, allowing for two- and three-week voyages.
