
Kempinski Hotels has appointed Barbara Muckermann as its new chief executive officer.
Muckermann joins from Silversea Cruises, where she served as President for 14 years, bringing extensive experience in the luxury travel industry.
Muckermann is the first woman to lead Kempinski Hotels in its 127-year history. She aims to honor the brand’s rich history while driving forward its luxury offerings and global growth.
Kempinski, currently with 82 hotels in 36 countries, is preparing for expansion into new regions, with Muckermann’s dynamic and forward-thinking leadership expected to play a key role in this growth.
