Cape Grace hotel in Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront has reopened after a nine-month renovation led by 1508 London, now managed by Fairmont and Accor’s luxury brand.

The property, originally established in 1996, offers 112 rooms and suites featuring large French windows or balconies with views of the marina or Table Mountain.

New dining options at Cape Grace include the South African-inspired cuisine at restaurant Heirloom by Cape Town chef Gregory Czarnecki, alongside the Pool Bar, Library Lounge, and a revamped Bascule Bar and Lounge.

The hotel hosts amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool and the new Fairmont Spa, adding to the range of luxury accommodation options in Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, including One&Only Cape Town and The Silo Hotel. Accor’s Fairmont collection includes over 90 properties worldwide, with plans for new Fairmont establishments in England like The Mere in Cheshire and Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa.
