The new Icon of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship with a capacity of 5,610 guests, launched year-round service from Miami in January, leading Royal Caribbean International to take over the largest operator title from Carnival Cruise Line. Other major cruise lines contributing to the positive trend in the Caribbean include MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Virgin Voyages, and Margaritaville at Sea.
